At the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, there were many side cars on motorcycles. This Blog Gallery will show only but a few of the many that were there.
This first sidecar was cool because it had a nice matching paint scheme.
And also a small luggage rack in the back.
This one looked like a little tub on the side of the bike.
The windshield on this one was small and I didn’t like the green paint color.
This one was cool. If you don’t like wind in your face or getting wet then this is for you.
Sidecars are a very cool way to ride with your dog.
This one looks very homemade and not too stylish… or comfortable.
Here’s another dog just chillin’ in his sidecar. He even has googles on.
This one looks like a sports car with its’ sleek lines and nice rim on the tire.
This next sidecar and bike are definitely many years old but the matching paint job makes it look better than most this old.
Here’s another one I liked. The all black color is good looking.
This side car has a mini luggage rack also and the seat looks comfortable. There’s also a locking trunk in the back of the sidecar.
I’m not a big fan of this color green on this bike and sidecar.
This next one was probably one of the most expensive ones that I saw. It had a nice matching paint scheme and a cool fender over the sidecar tire.
The whitewall tires on the sidecar and bike looked very nice. This might be my favorite one.
Here’s a guy giving his entire family a ride.
This next one was painted like a school bus and was probably the largest sidecar that I saw.
Here’s an old timer with his sidecar. I’ve seen better but he looks happy with it so Rock On, Dude.

That school bus sidecar belonged to a close friend, Mike Braverman. He could load his wife and two boys into it with room to spare.
Mike is no longer with us but he made his mark on the Socal sidecar scene. His father, Robert, an AMA hall of famer, and Mike did their share of racing together in the ’60s and ’70s with Mike as the monkey. There’s a job that takes some big cajones!
