Of my Canadian friends, I am so fond;
Just like the English, across the pond.
They are so friendly, and always have a smile;
If you need their help, they’d gladly walk a mile.
Great people to know, and consider as friends;
Our countries are so close, it’s like we’re twins.
They use the Loonie, it sounds kind of funny;
And they call ours, Monopoly money.
I know many Canadians, they are all cool;
They seem to follow, the Golden Rule.
Invented Hockey, a game quite nice;
Where can you see such a fight, on ice.
They have a clean country, and breathe fresh air;
Just in case, they have free Health Care.
Just as sure as, a clock tick tocks;
Everybody loves, Michael J. Fox.
We love Starbucks, and the line never shortens;
They get their coffee, at Tim Hortons.
Winnie the Pooh, not many knew;
Came from Canada, from their zoo.
Their motto is, “From sea to sea”;
Second largest country, a lot to sightsee.
Better not go, on a crime spree;
You’ll get caught, by the RCMP.
If building a company, and I had to pick;
With the Canadians, I would stick.
Good for the cause, trustworthy and diligent;
And they always, get what you meant.
On their flag, is the Maple Leaf;
If you visit Canada, don’t make it brief.
30,000 lakes, but it gets very cold;
Take a dip in winter, you’d have to be quite bold.
I love Canada, they’d do you any favor;
Couldn’t ask for, any better neighbor.
