The Earth offers us, many things;
Great Mountains, and beautiful springs.
Of these things, that are so dear;
We have the flower, that is so near.
Many types, all over the place;
Any and all, in every space.
Roses are most popular, given to loved ones;
Valentine’s Day, they are sold by the tons.
Daffodil, Dandelion, and Daisy;
Great to lay around, when you’re feeling lazy.
Snap Dragon, Sunflower and the Sweet Pea;
All are loved, by the bee.
Pollination occurs, so more will grow;
Sometimes Hybrids, we did not know.
Morning Glory, Marigolds and Mums, add to the moment;
Add a card so they know, by whom they were sent.
Poppies are nice, but don’t eat the seed;
Or a clean urine sample, you will need.
Flowers express emotion, everyone will send;
When injured, they help on the mend.
Women love flowers more, that is for sure;
First date without flowers, go to another door.
I’ll close with a poem, as old as the hills;
Luckily, Poetry’s not paying my bills.
Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
Give your lover flowers,
She’ll be true to you.
