Then she took away the y, and added i e.

Queen of the Pinups, she was often called;

Men in the 50’s, were totally enthralled.

In school, voted ‘Most likely to Succeed’;

Caught the eye of every guy, indeed.

She had many titles, and a college education;

Influenced sexuality and fashion, in the nation.

With her jet-black hair, and beautiful blue eyes;

Made her own costumes, to show off her thighs.

Was chosen as Miss January, Playmate of the Month for 1955;

What a way to increase, a man’s sex drive.

Bettie is known, for many things;

Did wear many, wedding rings.

The 1^st famous bondage model, she set the tone;

Madonna, Katy Perry, Dita von Teese, didn’t do it alone.

The Dark Angel, once attacked with a knife;

Went to court, and fought for her life.

In a Mental Hospital, she spent many years;

Schizophrenia, can cause many tears.

Miss Pinup of the World, she was voted;

The Queen of Curves, was often noted.

Ms. Monroe, had fame and a body that was hot;

Marilyn had a predecessor, Bettie did not.

What a dream, to be with Bettie Page;

In Heaven, I bet she’s all the rage.

My affection for Bettie, just won’t quit;

Oh to see her, in that leopard outfit.

Given a choice between Marilyn or Bettie, who to choose;

Either way, you wouldn’t lose.

My new dream, to date the pair;

To walk by, and watch the people stare.

Bettie Page, you are a Star;

May this poem find you, wherever you are.

I won’t hold my breath, to get a date;

But if chosen, I wouldn’t be late.

I wouldn’t act stupid, or be a dope;

I would bring my camera, and lots of rope.

You are so admired by millions, and more;

One of the prettiest Angels, for sure.

I wouldn’t ask you, to be my wife;

You might get mad, and pull your knife.

Enjoying life, I don’t hasten death;

But you’ll be on my mind, with my last breath.
