L.A. is called Tinseltown, and also Hollywood;
Live there for sure, if we all could.
Cali’s got great beaches, and babes to spare;
Go there one time, and all you’ll do is stare.
Hollywood is famous, for movie stars;
Maybe you’ll see them, in the bars.
Plastic surgery, and drugs abound;
Every cop stop, coke is found.
Stars go to Rehab, that dog don’t hunt;
We all know, that it’s a PR stunt.
They all own expensive cars, and fine jewelry;
Way too costly, for you or me.
They get free clothes, to tell lies;
That’s how companies, advertise.
They have little dogs, they carry everywhere;
Give it to someone, that will take better care.
Some have talent, others are famous for no reason;
New ones spring up, every Reality season.
Hollywood is a bad place, for raising young ones;
They have no work ethic, and always want funds.
I love the movies, I watch them all;
Along with the Hero, I have a ball.
Actors make great stories, that are worth watching;
Some with Oscars, they are notching.
Tom Hanks has two, so does Hillary and Jack;
There are some men of gold, I wish they’d take back.
Stars Wars is the movie, that opened our minds;
Now there are, so many similar kinds.
Hollywood is good, it’s L.A. that’s bad;
Trouble to be found, if you’re a Lass or a Lad.
City of Angels, would be the misnomer;
Many thought Demons, if you ask any loner.
I’d move to L.A., in a heart beat;
So Stars, I could see on the street.
We all love Hollywood, and the Stars;
Although some of them, belong behind bars.
If you’re a Starlet, here’s words to you;
Stay off the casting coach, that’s nothing new.
Memorize your lines, and be on time;
Don’t do Tequila, even with a lime.
Cocaine is a no no, it ruins your face;
Puts your septum, out of place.
Mingling’s okay, it’s part of the game;
Drink too much, you’ll lose your chance at fame.
I love the Oscars, to see their skills tested,
Next day on TMZ, see who was arrested.
How to close about Hollywood?, a place of great lore;
Everybody loves it, and always wants more.
Hollywood is known all over the world, I’ve heard about it since I was born;
I’ll always be a huge fan, could you please pass the popcorn?
I’ve been to Hollywood several times now and it never gets old.
I partied on the Sunset Strip one Halloween and it was one of my best times ever.
I’ve stayed in some of the nicest hotels and enjoyed every minute of it. We’d just go down to the jacuzzi at night instead of even going out because the hotel was so nice.
I’ve seen the cement imprints at Mann’s Chinese Theater, walked the Walk of Fame and spent time in nearby Santa Monica and Venice Beach.
I love L.A. and as I said in the above poem, would move there if it were possible.
If you ever get the chance to visit there, I would definitely go. You’ll have a blast.
