Having friends, is always nice;
Someone you can count on, and never think twice.
Some you’ve known, since childhood;
A relationship, that is always good.
Others, you’ve met along the way;
They lift your spirits, and brighten your day.
Friends are dependable, and should be cherished;
There is nothing about, to be embarrassed.
Some friends, you meet online;
They make you smile, and that is fine.
A friend, never lets you down;
And never, causes you to frown.
Share your deepest secrets, and all of your inner thoughts;
Never a bad word, their lips ever crossed.
Oh what a lonely life, without dear friends around;
No close relationships, in your background.
Friends are like money, with them you’re never poor;
No matter how many, you could always use more.
I’d do anything for my friends, I surely would;
They’d do the same for me, if they could.
Value your friends, and treat them right;
You never know when you’ll need them, on a cold, lonely night.
Tell them what they mean to you, say it with cheer;
Do it the next time, you’re having a beer.
Time passes quickly, and sometimes it goes too fast;
Don’t live with regret, in your past.
Tell your friends, the same things you’d like to be told;
After all, friendship is more valuable than gold.
