This Blog article is about another one of the screenplays that I have written.
It’s about an aging diamond thief that experiences all kinds of bad luck when trying to pull one last job to retire.

He and his two partners get the valuable diamonds, but Carter is double crossed by one of his partners.
Carter ends up being the only one left alive of the three.
He’s got the diamonds in a hidden compartment in his trunk and he’s headed out of town when all of a sudden, he’s car-jacked at a red light.
I almost called the script “Red Light”, because this is where everything changes for Carter.
He finds himself low on money and with no wheels when an old friend sees him walking down the sidewalk.
Carter goes to work with his old friend, working for one of the most violent mob bosses ever.
This mob boss enjoys seeing people that cross him eaten alive by piranha. They get stripped naked and tied down in a pool, then the piranha are released.
I write about this and describe it as pretty awful. What a terrible way to die it would be.
Carter has no choice but to work for this guy because he is out of options since his car was stolen from him. He and his friend, Stevie, look for his car at chop shops in between jobs but never find it.
As Carter is staying over at Stevie’s place, he meets Crystal, a young topless dancer. They end up falling for each other and I write the sex scenes very descriptively. They have sex in the strip club, at Stevie’s apartment and in a hotel. Each time, The sex scene gets more erotic, and again, I get very descriptive.
Carter continues to work for this evil crime boss until one day he sees an opportunity.
He and Stevie plan to rob their boss and leave town.
As Carter and the rest of the gang are pulling a big heist, Stevie is supposed to stay back and rob their boss.
The heist Carter is on goes wrong, but Carter ends up with a big bag of diamonds, while Stevie runs into trouble while trying to rob their boss.
As Carter is running from the police, he gets shot in the arm and must drop the bag of diamonds as he flees.
Stevie gets shot leaving with the money and jewels, and now finds himself a prisoner of this heinous mob boss.
The story is wrapping up and Crystal is packing to leave town with Carter and Stevie, not knowing all of the problems they are having.
Carter gets away from the cops and finds himself wandering the streets when he spots his car. He is more than elated to use a hidden key, jump behind the wheel and drive off.
The first thing that he does is pull over and check for his diamonds in the hidden compartment in the trunk. They are still there.
As Carter heads to pick up Crystal, he has no idea that Stevie is about to be stripped naked and tied down in the piranha pool.
The ending to this story is one reason it won’t ever get made. It’s too taboo for Hollywood.
As Carter gets to Crystal, he finds her murdered with a knife in her chest.
The crime boss had his henchmen go looking for Carter and killed Crystal to be cruel and get some sort of revenge on Carter.
When Carter finds Crystal, he pulls the knife from her chest and holds her closely.
As he is holding her, he notices that she was packing and sees an open photograph album. He sees a picture of a woman and begins to have a flashback.
Carter sees himself having a conversation with a girl while on the phone. She and he are discussing him leaving town so as not to be caught for a crime. In this flashback, Carter is in his early 20’s.
One of the last things the girl says to Carter is, “What about the baby?”.
Carter grabs the photo album and begins to turn the pages. In it, he sees pictures of Crystal as a baby with this other woman who was her mother… and Carter’s young girlfriend.
Carter now realizes that he has been having an affair with his long, lost daughter.
Just then, the police bust in and surprise Carter.
He is still holding the knife in his other hand when he jumps up from the bed.
The police tell him to drop the knife, but instead, Carter looks around the room. He sees his diamonds on the floor, Crystal dead and the photo album. Then he decides to charge the police to commit suicide.
As he runs towards the cops with the knife, they open fire and kill him.
All of this happened to him because he caught the wrong red light.
I wrote this story out of frustration with all of the thugs getting girls pregnant and leaving them to raise the kids alone. Had Carter stayed around to raise his daughter, this would have never happened to him.
One of the reasons why I write the sex scenes so descriptively is because I want to arouse the audience with some great sex scenes, then when they think back to that being father and daughter it will shock them.
You know that with 7 billion people on Earth that fathers have met their forgotten kids and not known they were related.
If these thugs would be fathers instead of serial impregnators the world would have less crime and be a better place to live.
The last thing the audience sees is Stevie’s face as he is screaming bloody murder, as the piranha eat him alive.

This film would not be for the faint of heart.
I entered this script in some contests and I placed high in one and was invited to Hollywood for an awards banquet. It was a fun trip.
