For the last 20+ years, I’ve been driving SUV’s. More recently, I’ve driven only Chevy Tahoes.
Here’s a look at some of my Tahoes. This is an ’05 model. It happens to be one of my favorite body styles.
Shortly after I got it, I began to put my decals on it.
Here’s the first one I put on.
Then I added the skull logo on the back window.
I then began to add my decals.
I added a hood skull logo and a front window logo.
Here’s a photo with the door decals and the driver’s side, rear window almost full.
I liked the pirate flags.
Here’s the front view.
I pulled right up to the parade at Mardi Gras in New Orleans and had a guy snap this pic.
I began to add logos on the passenger side also.
It didn’t take long to get a lot added.
Here are all of the states that I’ve visited.
I love the chrome rims.
A view in the sunlight.
It came with the Brush Guard and I loved it.
It added to the overall look of the Tahoe.
I got a lot of compliments on the hood logo.
I like having my decals on my Tahoes. It adds color and personality to the vehicle. It’s personalized.
At the time, I had a personal plate for ContraGear, but just CONTRA.
The back filled up nicely.
This was a good SUV.
Too bad I totaled it.
My next Tahoe was another ’05 model. I told you I liked that body style.
The first thing I did was install a Brush Guard.
I went in a different direction with my decals this time.
Here’s the completed back window.
I got lots of exposure from this window.
I also had a door sign for the TV Show I produced and hosted.
I had just gotten new rims in this pic, after a lady rammed my passenger side door and damaged the rims on that side..
Here’s what I was thinking about adding later.
Had a flat one day and had to go to Discount Tire to get it repaired.
I liked this Tahoe.
I always had a membership to the carwash, so I go about 2 or 3 times a week to keep it clean.
I like this pic. A rare photo with my cowboy hat on.
I used this for the top banner on my photo galleries for a while.
Then I got ready to sell it.
I took off all of the decals and had it detailed.
It looked pretty damn good.
My next Tahoe is an LTZ model, top of the line.
I bought it from my brother-in-law and it already had great chrome rims on it.
It has a great back window for my decals.
I was excited to begin decaling.
I definitely wanted to add a Brush Guard.
I put in a dash protector.
This is before the Brush Guard and decals.
A clean slate for decals.
I had the Brush Guard installed. The installer said it looked like a cop SUV. I laughed.
With the Brush Guard and Texans flag.
Before the side decals went on.
My friend said I look like an adventurer, frontiersman with my metal pony, lol.
In Louisiana, visiting relatives.
Rear window decals and flags added.
Passenger side decal.
Skull and Bones on one side.
Close up of right side rear decals.
Skull and Swords on the other side.
Close up of left side rear decals.
With door sign.
Driver side decal.
Brush guard, Flags, Decals, Door sign and Dash protector.
Company vehicle complete.
This pandemic is messing up my cruisin’ for chicks, lol.
