Well, I finished another screenplay. This one took me less than two days of basically working around the clock.
It’s a bit misleading to say that I wrote a 95 page screenplay in less than two days. I have been thinking about this story and making notes about it for a couple of years now. The writing of the script came to me very easily as I followed my notes.
As I just said, it’s 95 pages long and it’s got lots of action and some of the grossest, most horrific scenes written in Hollywood history.
It’s about aliens that come to Earth and invite us to go visit their planet. I can’t say much else, but I’ll just say a lot of shit goes down, lol.
The reason I finally got around to writing this script is because I wanted to enter it in the Austin Film Festival screenplay contest this year.
Now I’ve got about 5 more weeks to edit my story before I have to turn it in for judging.
I may not do well in the contest, but I’ll say this… whoever reads my screenplay is going to be entertained and thoroughly grossed out. As I said, it’s got some gross scenes that I’ve never seen Hollywood do yet, in any movie. It’s forging new ground in a way.
I’d like to tell you more about the story, but maybe later on I’ll load some excerpts of the more horrific scenes.
It’s called “Voyage to Easha” and the name turns out to mean something in the end. A major plot twist, if you will.
I wish you all good luck in your personal creative projects and I’ll keep you posted on how I do in the screenplay contest. I’ll know more by September of this year.
Have a good day.
