In December of 2015, my television show, “The Paul Michaels Experience”, starts on Houston, Texas cable television channels and on the Houston MediaSource website. I’m hosting a program that showcases my Travel & Event videos I’ve been shooting for many, many years.
I’ve got footage from Europe and all over the U.S. I also shot video of many events in and around the Houston area.
Right now, I’ve got enough footage edited and ready to air for one full year of programs to air for one hour, one day a week – 52 shows for 52 weeks..
During the year, while these shows are airing, I’ll still be shooting events around the Houston area, so after my programs air for a year straight, I’ll already have more footage for new episodes.
After I air all of my footage, I’ll go to a six month schedule from June to November each year. That way I’ll have time to shoot and edit my shows before the scheduled air times and also this will give me more time for travel. I’ve got some more places in Europe that I want to visit. I’ll shoot a lot of video while in Europe for more episodes when I return.
A while back, I asked my friend, Jeff, to create an intro for my TV show and YouTube videos. I told him that I wanted an explosion with the name of my show coming out of it.
He went to work and came up with exactly what I asked for. The audio he added puts it over the top.
I took his intro and added some short highlight clips from some of my episodes, then ended the intro by putting his explosion again. It’s a few seconds under two minutes long and I like it a lot.
Each episode of my TV show will open with this intro. I’ll also put the explosion with the name of the show at the end of each episode as well.
If you have 2 minutes, check out my shows’ opening intro. I think you’ll like it.
You can follow me on Facebook to get updates about the episode airing each week in the Houston Market and also on the Houston MediaSource website.
I’ll put the subject matter, dates and showtimes for each episode on my Facebook account, along with a link to the website airing my program. You can find my Facebook page by going to my website below.
My show will air on the following channels in and around the Houston area: Comcast 17, AT&T 99, SuddenLink 99, TVMax 95 and Phonoscope 75.
